Zioness protests at SCOTUS in support of DACA - November 12

November 11, 2019

Dear Zionesses,

Please join Zioness in action as we raise our voices in support of DACA.

Zioness is participating in an anticipated large-scale protest in support of DACA recipients outside the Supreme Court on TOMORROW, November 12. We will meet on the steps of the Folger Library at 9:30 am and walk to the protest together.  Zioness is proud to stand in solidarity with DACA recipients and all immigrants under attack by this cruel administration, and we feel that it is critical that our members "pray with their feet" as the Supreme Court weighs the future of hundreds of thousands of Americans. As Jews, we are taught to welcome the stranger. As Zionists, we believe that every human being is entitled to human rights and dignity.

Jewish Americans are committed to the fight for immigrants and refugees, and we are also unapologetically and inherently Zionist––an identity that is entirely consistent with our progressive domestic ideals. Please join us on November 12 and forward this email to any friends, families, colleagues or activists who might want to come, as well. The larger our presence in this and other movements, the stronger our collective Zioness voice will be.

We look forward to seeing you on the steps of the Folger Library at 9:30 am and walk to the protest together. We will have posters for distribution. Please reach out to Carly at carly@zioness.org with any questions.

With love and solidarity,
Team Zioness
