Representative Ayanna Pressley had the moral and political courage to stand against BDS yesterday, voting "yes" on the anti-BDS resolution. In a time of heightened sensitivity for her Jewish constituents and Jews around the world, she listened to those she represents and publicly recognized the problematic nature of the BDS movement and its negative effects on the prospects for a peaceful, prosperous two-state solution to the conflict.
Since the vote, we are horrified to see that she has been flooded with vicious attacks from every direction. When an elected representative takes a bold stand toward equality and justice and against antisemitism, we should show them our gratitude––especially in such a challenging political moment. This is where YOU come in: When someone shows up for us, we show up for them. Show up for Rep. Pressley by calling her office to thank her for standing against antisemitism with her Jewish constituents.
Here's what you can do to help:
1. Call her district and D.C. offices: (617) 850-0040, (202) 225-5111
2. Share our Facebook post or Twitter post and tag her @AyannaPressley (on Facebook she is @AyannaPressley2)
3. If you are her constituent, email her office
With love and solidarity,
