As we get ready to welcome the new year, we reflect on all we have accomplished in just over one year—with your support and solidarity.
In 5778, Zionesses marched proudly for women’s rights, for racial justice, for gun control, and for children, families, immigrants and refugees.
We started as a handful of Jews committed to both pieces of our inherent identities: our progressive values and our belief in, and support of, Jewish self-determination. Since we launched last August—on the same day that neo-Nazis marched on Charlottesville—we have grown into a major national movement, providing an empowering and inspiring activist community to thousands of people from coast to coast. We’ve built a board of iconic progressive and Zionist leaders whose entire lives have been devoted to this essential work.
We’ve witnessed what Zioness has meant to all of you, who now feel reconnected to a political and communal home.
We are proud, encouraged, energized and fortified, and we have big plans for 5779. We are just beginning our work to #resist misogyny, racism, homophobia, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and nativism—and to fight for social, racial, economic and gender justice for all.
To mark the beginning of 5779, we hope you will commit to supporting the Zioness community with a pledge of $180. We must continue building this crucial progressive movement to ensure a place where we can be devoted to justice and equality without checking our Zionism at the door, and we can’t do it without your help. For our generation, for our children and our grandchildren, there has never been a more important time to stand proudly and faithfully as a progressive and a Zionist.
With love and solidarity,
